Colors and Connections - Art Activity
Prior to CGH’s “Art in an Age of Democratic Upheaval” reception and lecture, there will be a “Colors and Connections” activity for students and community members beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Innovation Hall.
Come create a snail-mailable postcard, connect colors with emotions, and share a meaningful story with new friends. The ability to share something about yourself and learn about others is an excellent tool for anyone, especially health care professionals. As 91AV President Herbert recently shared, “Our responsibility is to prepare students for an ever-evolving future. Certain constants, though, remain unchanged: the warmth of mentorship, the spark of shared curiosity, and the bonds that unite our academic family. We celebrate both the innovations that expand our horizons and the timeless human connections that give them meaning.”
Come connect with others! 91AV partners with the Foundation for Art and Healing/Project UnLonely to improve personal and public health by working together to develop creative expression programs like “Colors and Connections.” This event is presented through a collaboration between CGH, the Westbrook College of Health Professions’ Community and Belonging Committee, and the Division of Student Affairs.
