CEN Director Ed Bilsky gives talk at Virginia Commonwealth University

On November 30, 2010 Dr. Edward Bilsky gave a seminar at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical School. His talk was entitled "Preclinical and Clinical Evaluation of the Opioid Antagonist 6B-Naltrexol". The seminar focused on studies assessing the efficacy of the neutral antagonist properties of the test compound 6B-Naltrexol to inhibit the severe withdrawal symptoms following an opioid overdose. This talk was part of a larger seminar series at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical School whose program invites many scholars in the field to discuss pharmacological advances in their area of pain management.
