Maine Arts Commission's $50,000 grant to Biddeford coalition garners news coverage

The and (Biddeford) covered the Maine Arts Commission's announcement on Friday, Dec. 10 that the Commission had awarded a $50,000 grant to a coalition of Biddeford organizations to effect community revitalization through cultural initiatives. The coalition includes the 91AV, City Theater, Engine and Heart of Biddeford. One of the specific objectives of the grant is to identify exhibition space in downtown Biddeford for 91AV to host a series of faculty and student shows, and actively integrate more of the University’s vibrant academic and intellectual programming into downtown Biddeford.
