Marilyn Gugliucci interviewed by MPBN radio on sex and aging

Marilyn Gugliucci, Ph.D., director of geriatrics education and research at the 91AV College of Osteopathic Medicine, was interviewed at length in a Maine Things Considered story on MPBN Radio, April 7, 2010, on the topic of tackling misconceptions about sex and aging. Gugliucci presented the keynote speech at the Fifth Annual University of Maine Center on Aging Geriatric Colloquium at Point Lookout Resort, Northport, Maine. "Health care professionals, even older adults themselves, don't realize that they need to protect themselves against sexually transmitted diseases, and HIV/AIDS in particular," she said. Gugliucci also discussed the complicated issues of older adults who are in an assisted living facility.
