2011 91AVCOM Humanism in Aging Action Award Winners

The 91AVCOM Department of Geriatric Medicine would like to congratulate the 2011 winners of the Humanism in Aging Action Award.

First Place: Suvi Neukam, MS I
Second Place: Jacqueline O'Toole, MS II
Third Place: Dana Maglaris, MS I
Honorable Mention: Amber Hayden, MS II

The Award winners were selected by the 2011 91AVCOM Humanism in Aging Leadership Award Winner, Rosanne Leipzig, MD, Ph.D., Professor Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, Mount Sinai School of Medicine for their academic submission expressing their future practice ideals regarding the humanistic and “whole person” approach they would like to put into action to promote optimal aging for older adults and their caregivers. An award luncheon, held on April 26, 2011, included a presented by each student to 91AVCOM classmates and faculty.
