Announcement of dean for new College of Dental Medicine covered by ADA News

The American Dental Association's on Feb. 7, 2011 published a story on 91AV's announcement that James J. Koelbl, D.D.S., M.S., M.J. of Claremont, Calif., had been named dean of 91AV's new College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Koelbl is the founding dean of the College of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, Calif. and will join 91AV in April. 

91AV intends to open the college in the fall of 2013 and plans to seek initial accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation this year. A fundraising campaign for the school is under way. At the time of the announcement, $6.8 million had been raised.
