COM/CEN faculty member David Mokler publishes research article

Professor David Mokler (COM) and his long-time collaborator and thesis advisor Dick Rech, Michigan State University, recently published a research article. The paper looks at the relationship of the rewarding effects of a mu agonist and the aversive effects of a kappa agonist in the same experimental device and uses drug combinations to show that you can reverse the aversive effects of the kappa agonist with a mu agonist added in. Shannon Briggs of the Department of Environmental Quality for the State of Michigan was also a co-author on this article.
