91AVCOM students interviewed for Journal Tribune Martin Luther King Jr. Day volunteer story

The (Biddeford) on Jan. 18, 2011 published a story on the First Parish Congregational Church's annual “Not a Day Off, But a Day On” Martin Luther King Jr. Day event. At the church 91AV College of Osteopathic Medicine Students were offering free health screenings. 

Sarah Meade MSII told the reporter that she enjoyed doing community service, and she and other students do  service projects throughout the year. “It’s really one of the best feelings in the world. It really reminds us why we’re in medical school,” said Meade.
