Chris Rizzo receives grant at 9th annual Maine Athletic Trainers Association Awards

Chris Rizzo, MS, ATC, LAT, CSCS, assistant clinical professor, clinical education coordinator, was recently awarded the Mike Linkovich Post Graduate Grant at the 9th annual Maine Athletic Trainers Association (MATA) Awards Luncheon and Educational Session.

91AV was well represented at the March event by students, alumni and faculty.  Greg Jancaitis '05 and Eric Daniels '10 were featured speakers, and Travis Carignan '12 received the Wes Jordan Undergraduate Athletic Training Student Award.

MATA is dedicated to the advancement of athletic training with the purpose of providing health care for Maine’s physically active.
