Dora Ann Mills published in 'Vaccine' journal

91AV’s Vice President for Clinical Affairs Dora Anne Mills, MD, MPH, FAAP,  co-authored an article “Effects of immunizing school children with 2009 influenza A (H1N1) monovalent vaccine on absenteeism among students and teachers in Maine,” which was recently published in the July 6, 2012 issue of Vaccine.

The article discusses the authors’ study, which demonstrated that increased vaccination among Maine’s school-aged children had modest effects on student and teacher absenteeism, despite the fact that vaccination occurred immediately prior to and during the peak of the H1N1 flu pandemic.
