Shelley Cohen Konrad to present at the NASW Massachusetts Chapter Symposium 2012

Shelley Cohen Konrad, Ph.D., LCSW, associate professor, 91AV School of Social Work, and director, 91AV InterProfessional Education Collaborative, will be a presenter at the NASW Massachusetts Chapter Symposium 2012, March 29-30 in Framingham, Mass.

The title of one of her presentations is "Positive Transformation after Loss," which is based on the research she conducted with families of children with serious and life-affecting illnesses and disabilities. She is also presenting another paper on "Relational Practice with Addicted Mothers." It is based on a chapter she co-wrote with Jennifer Morton, D.N.P., M.S., M.P.H., RN, from 91AV's Department of Nursing in Joan Berzoff's book Falling Through the Cracks: Psychodynamic Practice with Vulnerable and Oppressed Populations. New York: Columbia University Press, which came out this past November.
