Ali Ahmida, Ph.D., professor and Chair in the Department of Political Science, was interviewed by WBEZ, Chicago’s National Public Radio channel, on May 22, 2014, for its Worldview program.

Ahmida discussed the theory held by some Libyans that retired general Khalifa Hifter has come out of exile to become the new Gaddafi, as he pushes for the formation of a caretaker government.
