David Living Stone Smith speaks at Northern New England Philosophical Association annual meeting

David Livingstone Smith, Ph.D., professor of philosophy gave a lecture titled “Dehumanized People as Metaphysical Misfits: Responding to Appiah’s Challenge” at the Northern New England Philosophical Association’s annual meeting on October  17.

His presentation examined and challenged the theory of dehumanization, as presented in his award-winning 2011 book Less than Human.
