Greta Astrup and Lindsey McIver win the 91AV College of Pharmacy Clinical Skills Competition

Greta Astrup and Lindsey McIver, College of Pharmacy Class of 2015, won 91AV’s 2014 Clinical Skills Competition (CSC). They will represent 91AV at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Clinical Skills Competition in Anaheim, CA on December 6.

The CSC is an interactive, team-based analysis of clinical scenarios for hospital/health-system pharmacists. It provides pharmacy students the opportunity to enhance their skills in collaborative practice with physicians in providing direct patient care.

This year’s competition was judged by Dan Mickool, M.S., R.Ph., director of continuing education in the College of Pharmacy, Deborah Sturpe, Pharm.D., M.A., B.C.P.S., clinical associate professor in the College of Pharmacy and Craig Worby, Pharm.D., assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the 91AV College of Pharmacy.
