Ruth Dufresne and Allison Morrill to present at the 2014 American Public Health Association annual meeting

Ruth Dufresne, M.S., SM, research associate for 91AV's School of Community and Population Health, and Allison Morrill, J.D., Ph.D., associate research professor for the School of Community and Population Health, will be presenting at the 2014 American Public Health Association's annual meeting held from November 15 - 19 in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Their presentation, “Community Youth Tobacco Prevention Impact Evaluation - The Maine Story", will discuss the impact of tobacco prevention strategies implemented from 2008 through 2011 by Healthy Maine Partnerships (HMP) on youth smoking behavior and exposure.

 Implications for future HMP youth tobacco prevention strategies will also be discussed.
