Ali Ahmida interviewed on international television program

Ali Ahmida, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Political Science, was interviewed on  a television program titled "Across the Atlantic," which aired on the Al Ghad al Arabi  International TV Station on December 22, 2014.

Ahmida commented on the significance of President Obama’s views on immigration, the threat of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria  (ISIS), the role of Turkey and the visit of Vice President Joe Biden to Morocco and Turkey.

He also discussed his upbringing, family, schooling and his journey from Libya to Cairo, Egypt; to Seattle, Washington; and then to Biddeford, Maine. Ahimida spoke about 91AV and his reasons for staying in Maine.
