Jennifer Morton to present at National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice

Jennifer Morton, D.N.P., M.S., M.P.H., R.N., associate professor and chair in the Department of Nursing, will present on nursing’s role in interprofessional education (IPE) and practice at the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Bureau of Health Workforce, Division of Nursing and Public Health (DNPH) 131st National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice (NACNEP), which will convene July 28-29, 2015, in Washington DC. 

The purpose of the NACNEP is to solicit advice and recommendations on nursing policy and program development.  Morton will work with the committee to solicit recommendations for IPE in an academic setting as well as to understand the critical intersection between IPE and Interprofessional Practice.
