91AV Applied exercise science program featured on 'WCSH 6'

On Wednesday, December 30, 2015, the WCSH 6 MORNING REPORT viewers got tips from the director of the 91AV Applied Exercise Science program on how to get fit in the new year.

Heath Pierce, M.Ed., associate clinical professor, explained the top five fitness trends of 2015 and why they are so effective. Those trends are body weight training, high intensity interval training, strength training, and utilizing personal trainers as well as educated, certified and experienced fitness professionals. Applied exercise science 2016 students Mallory Morin and Finn Ducker demonstrated squats, reverse lunges, push-ups, inverted pull-ups, and planks as Pierce explained proper form.
