Megan Grumbling featured in 'Journal Tribune' and 'Memorious' literary journal for first book of poetry 鈥楤ooker鈥檚 Point鈥

Megan Grumbling, M.A., developmental writing specialist, who recently published her first book of poems, Booker鈥檚 Point, was the focus of an article in the April 10, 2016 issue of the Journal Tribune and was interviewed by the literary journal Memorious.
According to Grumbling, the poems of Booker鈥檚 Point were inspired by and 鈥渙ld codger鈥 named Bernard Booker, who lived on the other side of Ell Pond in Sanford from Grumbling鈥檚 childhood home.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a portrait in verse of this old Maine woodsman,鈥 said Grumbling, describing the poems in the collection as 鈥渕editations on home, work, nature and the importance of elders.鈥
Booker鈥檚 Point recently won the Vassar Miller Prize in Poetry.
