New Nor’easters Kickoff

Sunday, August 30

10 a.m.3 p.m.

Our New Nor’easters Kickoff turns move-in day into a campus-wide celebration. Whether you’re just arriving or already settled in, join us throughout the day for food, games, music, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to meet your classmates, connect with the campus community, and kick off your 91AV experience as we welcome our newest Nor’easters and their families.

Kickoff activities include:

Orientation Programs

New Student Orientation

Orientation prepares you for the academic, social, and personal aspects of university life. You’ll make connections and get the important information you’ll need to start at 91AV. Attendance is required for all incoming undergraduate students, including first-time college students and transfer students.

Summer orientation for first-year students has now concluded. If you were unable to attend or have any questions as you prepare for the semester, please email us at orientation@une.edu.

First-Generation Bridge Program Trailblazer

If you are a first-generation student, we encourage you to explore our First-Generation Bridge Program. This free program provides access not only to Trailblazer Trips but to additional opportunities for support and connection.

Do you have questions in the final stretch before your first day on campus? Professional staff from our student support teams answer your questions and help you feel prepared for your first day and first year as a New Nor’easter.

Prepare to Live on Campus

Let’s get you ready to live on campus. This virtual session, in partnership with our Office of Housing and Residential and Commuter Life, covers everything you need to know to prepare for move-in and beyond.

Get Ready for New Student Orientation

May 20, 2026 | 7 p.m. ET

New Student Orientation is an exciting and required step for all incoming undergraduate students, whether you’re a first-time college student or a transfer student. Orientation programs kick off in June, and this virtual session is dedicated to making you feel prepared to attend.
