Michael Cripps serves on panel at International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference

Michael J. Cripps, Ph.D., associate professor, English & Language Studies, participated in a panel discussion at the 11th International Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Conference in Savannah, Georgia, on June 7, 2012. The panel, titled "From Resistance to Reaffirmation: A New Trend in WAC/WID?," examined factors leading colleges and universities with longstanding WAC/WID (writing in the disciplines) programs to evaluate and reaffirm their programs.

The double-session panel was organized by Martha Townsend (University of Missouri) and included Martha Townsend, Pamela Bedore (University of Connecticut), Pamela Flash (University of Minnesota), Dara Regaignon (Pomona College), Susan Schorn (University of Texas), Lori Salem (Temple University), and Christopher Thaiss (University of California, Davis).
