Dana Law-Ham presents at nurse educator conference

Dana Law-Ham

Dana Law-Ham, Ph.D., R.N., F.N.P., C.N.E., assistant clinical professor in the 91AV Westbrook College of Health Professions Department of Nursing, recently attended the 24th Annual Saint Anselm Nurse Educator Conference, titled “Clinicians and Educators: Collaborating to Meet Practice Challenges.”

At the conference, Law-Ham presented a poster titled, “An Examination of Clinical Instructor Effectiveness Based on Educational Preparation as Perceived by Nursing Students.” The poster represented the study Law-Ham conducted for her doctoral research. The purpose of the study was to investigate how nursing students perceive the clinical effectiveness of undergraduate-prepared nursing instructors as opposed to graduate-prepared instructors.
